Author Reading at the Library Sat. Dec. 9th

You're invited to join us

at the Kooskia Library

on Saturday December 9th at 1pm

for an afternoon reading

with Inland Northwest author

Paula Coomer

Ms. Coomer will read from her newest novel Jagged Edge of the Sky. Set partially in Western Australia in the 1950s and in Montana and Idaho in the latter half of the 20th century, this second novel follows the difficult history of a family split by infidelity and a mother's desire for freedom. The book was a 2016 nominee for the Pulitzer, the National Book Critic's Circle Award, and the Pushcart, among others, and makes use of the Imnaha River flood of 1997 in the depiction of a 100-year flood in the Australian Outback. Kirkus Reviews calls the story "a lusty, tragic tale." Ms. Coomer will be signing books and have copies of all her books available for sale.
